The story began 20 years ago when Piper Mackay first stepped onto the rich red soil of Africa. The sights, the smells, the sounds, the raw and wild spaces—it was magic that filled her soul. She left behind her two-decade fashion career and started a new path, photographing across the wilds of the African continent. Driven by a passion for sharing the exotic places she discovered, Piper began leading small groups of photographers on immersive expeditions. This passion blossomed into a bespoke photographic tour company specializing in Africa’s extraordinary wildlife and diverse tribal cultures.

With over 42 tribes and more than 50 wildlife reserves showcasing multiple subspecies, breathtaking deserts adorned with towering dunes, and white sand beaches lapped by turquoise waters teeming with exotic sea life, Kenya reigns as the most diverse African country. It’s the ultimate “Out of Africa” experience, and Piper dedicated a substantial amount of her time to exploring every corner, gaining immense logistical expertise. After hand-crafting photographic experiences for 12 years, training guides, equipping them with gear, and designing photographic vehicles, it was time for another leap of faith.
