I was born and raised in the Eastern side of Nairobi. Growing up, all I got to see were a lot of buildings and vehicles and all this time, I felt like there was something missing. Coming from the lakeside of Kenya, my family and I used to have long annual drives up-country and I really looked forward to these days as I got to see wild animals while passing through Nakuru. Moreso, during my primary school years, we used to go on several trips and I really looked forward to each and every one of them. I was never in touch with nature until this one time I got to visit Tsavo East National Park and fell in love. This was a life changing experience as it led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management. I’m still interested in learning more about tourism and currently pursuing a diploma in Tours and Travels Management. Once I finished university, I joined the Meikan Safaris team and I’ve had an opportunity to learn a lot from them over the past few weeks. I’m looking forward to creating memorable tour experiences for the clients.
I am very excited to finally introduce all of you to Mauly! She joined our team and started her training this past June. She will be assisting clients with all the important details of their upcoming safaris, expeditions, and workshops!
Don’t panic, Abigael is not leaving completely, but Meikan Safaris is going fast which is requiring a lot more of her time. We have you covered as Mauly is amazing with the details!!
