Travel? Tourism? Hospitality sigh

I’ve loved them since I was a little girl. Growing up in Laikipia, surrounded by ranches, wildlife, and conservancies, I connected with nature from a very young age. My grandfather ran a porter business on Mount Kenya, and my father worked on ranches before becoming a wildlife photographer. Being his firstborn meant I was often his sidekick, helping change lenses, wipe binoculars, and learning patience and observation while exploring the wild.

Some of my favorite memories with him were how he’d get a little impatient while I spent ages tracking wildlife footprints, but I couldn’t resist, and those adventures shaped my love for the wild. That adventurous spirit has taken me across Asia, Europe, and Africa, giving me firsthand insight into what truly makes a journey unforgettable. Having a tech background, I bring a little techie spice to every trip, keeping bookings, itineraries, and communications smooth so guests can relax and focus on the experience. I love anticipating what travelers might need and creating journeys that balance adventure, wildlife, culture, and care for the communities we visit.

When I’m not crafting safaris, you’ll find me outdoors, sewing or crocheting something, or funny enough, trying to perfect my kombucha, hoping it doesn’t blow up on my face again.

One word to describe working at Mackay Africa? Alignment! It allows me to bring all of the things I love together: adventure, community, travel, and creating moments that guests will remember forever.
