I come from the mountains, born and raised at the foothills of Mt Kenya. Occasionally, buffalos and elephants were spotted near a nearby river, but they were swiftly redirected back to the forest. I always yearned to witness the wildlife in its natural habitat.

I grew up in a fertile land with predictable rains, where my parents meticulously tracked expenses and sales on the abundant farms. My passion for Mathematics and business education led me to pursue Accounting & Finance, completing CPA-K and obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce Degree -Finance & MBA in Finance. I gained valuable experience at Isuzu East Africa, focusing on accounting, controls, reporting, and global business operations. Later, at CWT Travel, I delved into the hospitality industry. For the past three years, I’ve been overseeing Accounting & Finance at Mackay Africa, witnessing the remarkable growth of the company.

Working in the tourism industry has been a delight. I’ve had the chance to travel extensively, with the Maasai Mara being a particular favorite. The vast land boasts abundant wildlife and fantastic weather. Tribal safaris never cease to amaze me, showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of the tribes. Capturing their rich customs through photography is truly a wonder. It’s a joy to play a role behind the scenes, facilitating these incredible experiences.
